Cafe de Olla
Ingredients
- 2 quart(s) water
- 0.5 cup(s) brown sugar or 3 oz piloncillo
- 2 unit(s) cinnamon stick(s)
- 1 cup(s) ground coffee dark roast
Directions
- In a saucepan over medium-high heat, heat the water, sugar and cinnamon and stir until sugar has dissolved. Increase heat and bring to a boil, then add ground coffee, stir and lower heat to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat, let sit for 2 minutes. Then strain coffee into warmed cups.
